Grow

Service Description

The sessions are designed for families to participate in together, taking part in growing and food workshops, this is the introductory session with 2 more to follow in Dec and Jan. It's a collaborative project ran between Rewilding Youth, Bransholme PostCode Gardener, Hull Food Partnership and North Point Shopping Centre. From this initial session families are encouraged to sign up to the following 2 sessions, support will be provided in-between via a whatsapp group where we can all share growing tips, progressions, recipes, and have periodical live support. The sessions aim to be a progressive journey through growing, the action and theory of it, through to food production and sharing. There will also be the chance to take part in the filming side of the project which is being ran by Darren from Hull Food Partnership across the full 4 months (4 sessions) with a final film being produced at the end of it in conjunction with the young people and their families. (This isn't compulsory you can still attend the sessions and not take part in the filming) Meeting point outside the entrance of North Point Centre near the Gulf Petrol Station what 3 words: ///ducks.peanut.pool Any more info needed please give the team a ring or email us!
